Kewpie Corporation

Since the Kewpie Group’s founding in 1919, we have maintained an unwavering insistence that good products begin with good ingredients, while earnestly upholding an attitude of honesty and integrity as a Company that handles food items. We have always made efforts to create products with these ideals in mind.


Our mission is to contribute to society by delivering value to customers through our products and services. Looking back on Kewpie’s history, the first products we launched in Japan, which included mayonnaise, dressings and meat sauce, have grown and taken root in the market. Additionally, we have proactively proposed delicious ideas for eating vegetables and consuming protein through egg products. These efforts reflect our desire to contribute to the rich food culture and healthy eating habits of our customers. We will continue making proposals focused on the future of our customers with the aim of creating healthy food cultures throughout the world.

For many years, Kewpie has also been engaged in dietary education and other social activities as a “supporter for bringing smiles to children” aimed at creating a society filled with children’s smiles. Further, we will make earnest efforts toward climate change prevention, environmental conservation and the effective use of resources to bequeath a sustainable society to the next generation.


Guided by our corporate message “love around the kitchen table,” we will contribute to global food culture and health through great taste, empathy and uniqueness. At the same time, we will strive to be a leading company focused on transmitting the appeal of salads and egg products throughout the world.
