Warehouse TERRADA

Since its founding in 1950, Warehouse TERRADA has developed dedicated storage solutions for highly specialized items such as artworks, wine and media. From our art storage service first launched in the 1970s, to the museum and gallery complex we manage, as well as the various specialist art solutions ranging from packing and transportation to exhibition and conservation, Warehouse TERRADA has blossomed into one of the leading companies in the Japanese art industry.

Our base of operations is the Tennoz area of Tokyo, which is gaining traction as an international art hub. We have played an active part in developing this area and helping it flourish as a waterfront art space. In 2020, despite the onset of the pandemic, we launched PETALS TOKYO, a floating hotel on a canal, as well our WHAT MUSEUM and WHAT CAFE art facilities. This year, Warehouse TERRADA is planning numerous exhibitions and events to firmly establish Tennoz as a vibrant stage connecting Japanese art to the wider world.
