Organized by the Okamoto family, the trip kicks off with a wasabi dinner prepared by the Kobayashi family of Kinjirushi that you may have met at the Paris summit.


Then on to a visit to Asahi Intec and other cutting-edge companies owned by the Miyata family, which boasts the world's top share in medical equipment used for catheterization.


At Nagoya Castle you will tour the Honmaru Goten, a faithfully restored version of the lord's residence built in 1615 and experience traditional Japanese cultural activities such as tea and incense ceremony.


You will then enjoy a meal at "Kamome," a ryotei restaurant established in 1919.


You will travel to the summit venue in Tokyo by the super express train.

A welcome dinner hosted by the Kobayashi family of Kinjirushi Co., Ltd. with wine supervised by Mr. Shinya Tasaki (number one sommelier in Japan) and a special menu featuring Kinjirushi wasabi.

Kinjirushi has been a pioneer in the field of processed “wasabi” products which is an ancient Japanese spicy vegetable. We bring the refreshing aroma of "Hon Wasabi" to our customers.

Over the years, we have also continued to research the possibilities of Wasabi and discovered various functionalities such as the prevention of dementia.

Asahi Intec was established as a manufacturer of ultra-fine stainless steel wire ropes. In 1994, we entered the medical device business and been engaged in the development, manufacturing, and sales of essential medical devices for minimally invasive treatments such as intravascular therapy guide wires and catheters, which require small incisions and cause minimal pain.

Family visit Asahi Family (since 1938)


Asahi Forge is a forging company perfecting hot forging since its founding. Currently, Asahi Forge is headed by the 3rd generation HIROSHI ASAHI, with manufacturing bases located around Aichi and Gifu as well as in the US and Indonesia. The main products are automobile parts such as transmission gears and bearings. In particular, we boast the top market share in Japan for wheel hub bearings.
